With a growing number of 14,000 members as of Jan. 1, 2018, specified nonprofit corporation, Japan Medical Aromatherapy Association, celebrates its 28 years since establishment. Branches are also growing inside and outside Japan, spreading concerns over the true concept of Aromatherapy widely. It is all thanks to our members.

Our corporation strives for everyone’s healthy life by spreading information, for therapeutists and healers, treatments, and to the general public, ways for the everyday health care at home.

We continue our research with many members of doctors and veterinarians and teach Aromatherapy as a clinical treatment as an academic discipline.
We clearly conclude that our Aromatherapy is one of true clinical treatments and that a regularly known aromatic effect of it does not provide effect-efficacy.

Through the years of above activities, the biggest number of clinical experiences in the world, our Aromatherapy, being differentiated from those English and French Aromatherapy, has been called Japanese Aromatherapy.

We are NOT a profit organization supported by the business to give qualification to profit in return every year.

Also, our qualified members’ activities can be seen by everyone on our Cloud System Site, JMAA Cloud, as references for your activity after acquiring our qualification.
(Our Cloud System Site allows qualified members for FREE to use the reservation of their events and seminars, sales, activities, etc. and will be an automatic global language site.)

From 2021, we plan to change our NPO status to NGO for world wide activities.

対象者は、セルフケア等の講師講座テスト合格者・QOLプランナー・健康管理士以上の取得者です。
協会では年会費も無料ですので、一切費用はかかりません。

協会では資格取得後も、皆様の活動を支援しいきます。
教えて、資格を発行し年会費を取る、資格ビジネスの
スクールではありません。資格者を支援し多くの方々に
メディカルアロマのすばらしさを理解していただき、
世の中の病気になる人が少しでも減らせたらと考えています。

Certification Courses

Adviser and Specialist

Japan Medical Aromatherapy Association offers 2 types of certifications as Medical Aromatherapy Adviser and Medical Aromatherapy Specialist.
And each certification has each qualified activities.

Medical Aromatherapy Adviser

Endowed with an ability to prescribe or formulate individual Medical Aromatherapy recipes.

Endowed with a qualification to hold a further cultural school or volunteer activities as a JMAA member.
Endowed with a qualification to participate in Headquarters’ events as an assistant.
Endowed with a qualification to apply for specially arranged insurance by JMAA.

Qualifications

Completion of Adviser Basic and Practical Courses

Medical Aromatherapy Specialist

Endowed with a qualification as a Medical Aromatherapy Specialist.

Endowed with a qualification as a Medical Aromatherapy Instructor and Counselor.
Endowed with a qualification for activities as a NPO branch as a qualified instructor and counselor.

Qualifications

In addition to the qualification as a Medical Aromatherapy Adviser, completion of Intermediate Course, and success in the examination.
